So since its officially Spring as of yesterday (tell that to the weatherman) I thought I would change my profile picture. I think this one is more Spring-y.  I suppose that is very San Francisco of me to consider a grey dress more "Spring-y" but to be fair it does have flowers on it!!! And as Jasper Johns said, "Grey is my favorite color" and since its always good to be dorky in threes, we all know that there are way more than 50 shades of grey.

Anyways, I’ve been thinking about my blog lately and in reading other people’s, I think it need to be more blog-y.  More share-y.  More diary -y (okay that last one sounds way too much like a stomach problem).

Basically I don’t think I am sharing enough.  This is the age of sharing and I need to share more.  And sharing is caring.

For example, yesterday, I made some very healthy cookies.  I tweaked a Gwyneth Paltrow recipe (yea you read right, I have both her cookbooks) and they came out great and after I took them off the cookie sheet I was like, shit!  I should have blogged about this!  Well the only way anything exists is if you photograph it, so like a true nerd, I put the cookies back on the cookie sheet and photographed it so that I can share this tweaked recipe with you.

Point is, I am trying to get more into the mind set of a blogger, which basically means, stopping and sharing along the way.  If I had been in a blogging mindset last year, I would have shared the transformation of my Mom’s flat in San Francisco as it unfolded.  I mean who redesigns an entire home and forgets to document the process?  Uh that would be me. Pretty sure my Grandma even said I should document the process, and she barely knows what a blog is. (love you Grandma!)  Of course my mom also mentioned it numerous times as well! Of course.  Why is it that Mom’s are always right?Anything she suggests, I say no! and then later realize she was totally right and end up doing it.  Shoulda just done it in the first place.

So unfortunately, that ship has sailed.

But in the spirit of Spring and renewal I am now embarking on a totally share-y new-y blog-y. My own one bloggy (thats how my little bro used to talk - so cute, he still is - you should see him!!!)

So yeah, moving forward, I am going to stop and document the process.  And also share more!!!

I am going to start with the cookies post.  Now I am not perfect, obvi, so I have two photos, the after and the ingredients but not the mixing, but it is a step in the right direction.

Also I am going to be sharing more of my thoughts about things that come up that are related to design, fashion, travel etc.

So there you go.

Happy Spring!
