It feels strange not to acknowledge what happened in Paris here in my blog. I know that not many people are reading this, most of the people who know about my blog are friends of my Mom (thanks Mom) but anyway, whether or not anyone is reading this I think it is important to acknowledge the tragedy before I go on talking about interior design, which seems a little dumb in light of what happened. I don't know if there is a blog equivalent to a moment of silence, but if there is I would like to take one:
How many return spaces for a moment of silence, a moment of silence that is not long enough to express how deeply upsetting the tragedy in Parisi is. Paris is my favorite city in the world. Hands down. J'adore Paris. I send my love and prayers to that beautiful city and its beautiful people.
Here is a picture of me and my Mom in Paris in 1989 for the bicentennial of the French Revolution.
Vive La France! Je suis Paris! Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite!
And, Peace on Earth.
Wouldn't that be nice?
So here now a moment of silence for all the people in the world who are suffering under cruelty and tragedy. Make it stop. Love not War.
